Join Walk a Mile in My Boots with your school
Bring your school community together for a great cause and empower your students to create real impact. It's an unforgettable school experience – and you'll change the lives of people in South Australia facing homelessness.
Why take part
Homelessness can and does happen to anyone. There are over 7,000 people in South Australia experiencing homelessness.
By joining Walk a Mile in My Boots you’re helping make sure that people doing it tough can come to Hutt St Centre for free healthy meals, hot showers, medical check-ups, and so much more.
Your school’s kindness and commitment to fundraising will help ensure that Hutt St Centre is here for whenever people need us. Let’s lace up our boots and get started!
Walk a Mile in My Boots takes place during National Homelessness Week from 4-10 August. Join us on Friday 8 August in Victoria Park for a special one-mile walk with hundreds of other students to commemorate the end of Walk a Mile in My Boots. Or, fundraise and hold your own walk at your school anytime in Term 3.
