The Final Mile
I made it to the official start line! It was dark when i got up and about 5°C. It really makes you feel for those that didn't wake up this morning in a warm bed and safe home. I haven't had breakfast, but i did have a hot, nurtrious dinner, where many may not have been so lucky.Let's help end homelessness.
This National Homelessness Week, I'll be walking 2, 7 or 10 miles a day to raise funds for the 7,000+ people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.
All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for over 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
I'd be so grateful for your support! If you can’t join me for a walk (I'd welcome the company), please give generously to my donation page.
