Let's help end homelessness.
Since 2023, I've had the privilege of being involved with Hutt St Centre through the Governor's Leadership Foundation (GLF). What began as an opportunity to learn more about the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness in South Australia has grown into a cause that remains close to my heart.
Since that time, I've continued to support Hutt St Centre through volunteering and have seen first hand the incredible impact their team makes every single day. Beyond providing a hearty meal and a hot shower, Hutt St Centre offers something equally important, dignity, hope, connection and the support people need to rebuild their lives.
This National Homelessness Week, I'm taking part in Walk a Mile in My Boots, committing to walk a mile or more each day to raise funds and awareness for the more than 7,000 South Australians experiencing homelessness.
Every dollar raised helps Hutt St Centre continue providing essential services in a safe and welcoming environment for those who need it most.
