Prove them wrong!
My three boys seem to think that their mum wouldn't really understand the difficulties faced by the most vulnerable people in our community. While this belief may come from a good place, it motivates me to show them otherwise. I want to demonstrate that empathy and kindness are not just ideas; they can be felt through real experiences. It's important for me to walk alongside those who are less fortunate and truly understand their struggles! If I reach the $500 target, I'll wear a weighted 10kg vest!!
Let's help end homelessness.
This National Homelessness Week, I'll be walking 2, 7 or 10 miles a day to raise funds for the 7,000+ people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.
All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for over 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
I'd be so grateful for your support! If you can’t join me for a walk (I'd welcome the company), please give generously to my donation page.
Together we can help end homelessness.
