All funds raised will go to Hutt St Centre, which has been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for more than 70 years through essential services, wellbeing programs, and a safe, welcoming community.

Homelessness doesn't discriminate - it can happen to anyone. A lost job, a relationship breakdown, an unexpected illness, or simply the rising cost of living can quickly turn life upside down. For many people, the difference between stability and homelessness is far smaller than we realise.

That's why I'm participating in Walk a Mile in My Boots. This cause is deeply personal to me, and I'm proud to be raising funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

Behind every statistic is a person - someone's parent, child, sibling, friend, or neighbour - facing challenges most of us hope never to experience. Nobody chooses homelessness, and everyone deserves the dignity, safety, and opportunity that comes with having a place to call home.
