The struggle with the cost of living is a common thread that binds us all. While our experiences may vary in intensity, the underlying challenges are similar. This shared experience should inspire us all to extend a helping hand to those who are currently at their lowest point. By digging deep we can contribute to a community where no one has to face homelessness alone.In a society that often seems focused on individual success, let us remember the power of collective effort and empathy. Together, we can create a support network that uplifts those in need, providing them with the hope and opportunities necessary to rebuild their lives. After all, we've all been there, and by helping others, we help ourselves move towards a more compassionate world.

This National Homelessness Week, I'll be walking a mile (or more!) to raise funds for the 7,000 people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.
All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for nearly 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
