Thank you to everyone for your enormous generosity and superb timing, making the most of my texts and calls to take advantage of the double matching day!We have now reached over $1,000 raised, which will be enormous help for Hutt Street Centre.
Today I also attended the launch of the Port Adelaide Enfield Zero Project and it was extremely appreciated how we reached this goal at the same time as the Council reaching such an important milestone.
The work and advocacy towards ending homelessness and making sure these solutions are driven by lived experience is something I proudly support, and I am immensely proud of our council for taking this on seriously, urgently and wholeheartedly.

Raising money for Hutt Street Centre is an integral way we can show our commitment to our state ending homelessness, which I have been committed to for nearly a decade now through participating in the Walk a Mile in My Boots challenge since high school, and participating now through the City of Port Adelaide Enfield as part of our councillors and staff team as well.
Through announcements like the return of the South Australian Housing Trust and the milestone work of Zero Projects, such as Adelaide Zero Project reaching 1,000 housing outcomes for community who were formerly experiencing rough sleeping in the CBD, please consider giving generously to show your support for South Australia leading the nation in ending homelessness.

This National Homelessness Week, I'll be walking a mile (or more!) to raise funds for the 7,000 people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.
All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for nearly 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
