GOLD BOOTS!
Let's help end homelessness, mermazingly
Most of you would know, I've done this for a few years now. I believe in what the Hutt St Centre do and I want to do something to help.
I will do donation dares. You nominate something bizarre for me to wear, or a challenge for my walk, and I will give it a bash for a donation! This year, my theme is Mermaids, with my trusty sidekick Joey the wonderdog! I know, I was a mermaid last year, but it was so much fun I'd like to do again, and with more decorations!
Naturally, there will be photos. I'm thinking a walk around the seaside.
If I make it to $500, I'll wear my mermaid skirt to work. If I make it to $1000, I'll also wear the entire mermaid outfit to work.
This National Homelessness Week, I'll be walking a mile (or more!) to raise funds for the 7,000 people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.
All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness for nearly 70 years by providing essential support and wellbeing services all in a safe, welcoming space.
I'd be so grateful for your support! If you can’t join me in the challenge (I'd welcome the company), please give generously to my donation page.
Together we can help end homelessness.
